One of my favourite exercises: sketching again (and again, and again...) old stuff.
On your left: Evil Hanna-Barbera style Normand knight, from 2012. Indian ink and best natural hair brushes on heavy paper.
On your right: the very same character, from 2016. Pigment ink, pen-brush an markers on simple photocopy paper.
I think there has been some progress...
